As I watch the leaves change color and crunch my way through the piles of leaves all around, I am reminded of an essential aspect of leadership - knowing when to let go and when to say no.
We need to drop things that constrain and hold us back in order to make space for something new to grow. It requires inner clarity to discern what we need to say NO to, to ask ourselves -- what are we ready to stop tolerating, stop making excuses for, stop putting energy into, stop withholding, stop believing, stop holding on to…?
As we let those things die off and drop away, we gain time, energy and capacity to turn our attention to what is growing in our life - to what we truly want to create in our professional life, in our business, in our relationships and our own hearts. Now we can more forward and build what is next for us.
At Aurum, we teach about leading from our True Self, a natural state of authenticity, clarity and power. People at LBX often get very clear about their life and their projects - what needs to go, and what needs to grow.
I invite you into this inquiry this Thanksgiving, and I’d love to hear what you discover. Share your insights on our blog.
To kick off the new year with a potent process of reclaiming your True Self in an amazing community of people committed to doing the same, join us in San Diego! Our next LBX is Jan 17-20th, 2019, at a lovely hotel by the ocean in beautiful Solana Beach. Get $500 off with our early bird offer, and please share with friends.
