Background and Skills Summary
- Business strategy and market development expertise with deep analytical and business modeling skills. Strong systemic strategic thinking is critical to success in the role.
- Ability to create and manage financial business models and forecasting.
- Business development experience in a professional services environment, with ability to identify and pursue new channels and opportunities.
- Ability to collaborate, create and drive results in a small team environment.
- Strong communication skills, both written and spoken.
- Ability to engage, present and lead conversation on general and industry-specific topics in the training, coaching and consulting field.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with founders to create and execute strategy for significant growth in the next 3 years.
- Oversee and manage the business operations of a growing professional services firm.
- Plan and implement continually evolving operational infrastructure. Identify and pursue opportunities for systems enhancements, process improvements, and optimization of the overall operations of the company.
- Direct sales and marketing operations, including developing new sales and marketing channels, and strategic partnerships.
- Interact with clients, gain referrals, and form strong relationships that create opportunities and mutual benefit.
- Develop and maintain broad knowledge of market conditions and competitive landscape.
- Oversee hiring of key team members.
Education, Certification & Experience
- MBA/Masters degree or equivalent.
- Deep experience in professional services, preferably in the field of consulting, training or executive coaching services.
- Experience identifying and developing new sales channels and business development opportunities.
Technical Requirements
- Proficient in relevant computer applications (Google Workspace, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Google Analytics, etc).
- Familiarity with project management tools for remote teams (e.g. Asana, Basecamp, Monday, etc).
- Strong writing skills and ability to clearly communicate information in a digestible manner.

Practical details
- Full-time, remote position, Part-time negotiable.
- Occasional team and client-facing meetings and events may require travel.
- We have offices in the SF Bay Area and Amsterdam, with significant activity in Phoenix. Our team members and coaches are spread across the US and Europe.
